| Book Reviews Silent Warrior 1. Book Review by Ellen Seither Irving, Texas 12/23/2010 Silent Warrior by Otis D. Ritch Silent Warrior again provides, as did the first two books in the Johnny SkyHawk series, an enriching and entertaining reading experience. Although Johnny’s missions differ from book to book, the underlying principle remains the same. When a person has achieved a spiritual inner peace, he is able to turn around even the most bizarre and hopeless situations. In this book, the author has introduced Johnny to people from another planet. They were sent here to live on Earth to avoid the destruction of their home. When their son is kidnapped and Johnny sent to rescue him, the matter of how to subconsciously communicate arises. Once again, Johnny with his spiritual powers is able to do so with his mind. This is a concept the visitors had already mastered. As we go day to day under the stress of everyday living, so often we do not take time to stop and smell the roses. That’s what these books do for me. As I read through them, I start thinking outside the box and realize when one is at peace with himself, he is much happier. Ellen Seither 2. Book Review by Ethel Irving, Texas 01/04/2011 Silent Warrior by Otis D. Ritch Another outstanding book by Mr. Ritch. At the start of each chapter there is a quote and in Chapter 10 the quote begins by saying, "for every child born there is one true path." Read the book and enjoy, for inside you will find something in which you can relate. Ethel |
